Our History

In 1959, the founder of LibanJus, Mikhael Gharios, pioneered the fruit juice business in the near east area when he established the first factory in Beirut.

Throughout half a century of experience and know-how, LibanJus kept its priorities:

  • Premium quality product; and
  • Distinctive customer satisfaction

The high quality of LibanJus products is due to more than fine raw materials; the latest technologies allow LibanJus to achieve a deeper involvement in quality. Strict vigorous and repeated quality control is part of each step of the production, from raw material to actual delivery. LibanJus is always on the breaking edge of technology and automation, adopting sophisticated automatic control techniques to assert itself as a strong leader in this industry.


In its tradition, LibanJus strives to accommodate the needs and desires of its clientele. This, in turn, created a mutual growing satisfaction that led to an impressive evolution of LibanJus:

  • By 1978, LibanJus was already exporting fruit juice and concentrated products to many European and Arab countries
  • The growing demand resulted in the establishment in 1976 and 1980, of two sister factories, in Syria and Saudi Arabia. These factories were subsequently sold-off
  • In 1992, LibanJus took-on a new challenge: Building a state-of-the-art ice cream factory, to enter the Lebanese Ice Cream market

Today, LibanJus stands as one of the leading FMCG Companies in Lebanon. Our products are the Lebanese market leaders in each of the Fruit Juice, Ice Cream and Gelatin Deserts markets. The future looks bright, as LibanJus is looking to expand throughout the region, in a step to achieve our vision of worldwide coverage.
